Abstract:

Diese Arbeit zieht die Lehren aus sechs Lexikonprojekten zur DeutschenGebärdensprache (DGS). Sie ist gleichzeitig eine Einführung in grundlegendeAspekte der Lexikologie und Lexikographie sowie in die Korpuslinguistik vonGebärdensprachen. Dabei stehen die für jede Erforschung gesprochenerSprachen zentralen Arbeitsschritte der Transkription und Annotation imVordergrund. Um Gebärden segmentieren und sprachlichen Einheitenzuordnen zu können, bedarf es Kriterien, die konsistent auf alle Datenangewendet werden. Diese Kriterien sind Elemente eines Lexikonmodells,das wiederum die Entwicklung geeigneter Annotationswerkzeugebestimmt.Die Bedeutung des hier dargestellten Lexikonmodells liegt darin,dass zum ersten Mal das zentrale Merkmal von Gebärden, ihre Bildhaftigkeit(Ikonizität), in der lexikalischen Analyse umfassend berücksichtigt wird.Damit wird eine Brücke geschlagen von Forschungarbeiten zur Funktion vonAblesewörtern in der DGS (Ebbinghaus & Heßmann) zum Ansatz derfranzösischen Gebärdensprachforschung (Cuxac), der die Ikonizität in denMittelpunkt seiner Analyse stellt, Fragen zu lexikalischen Struktur bisherjedoch vernachlässigte. Gleichzeitig werden aktuelle korpuslinguistischeArbeiten der internationalen Gebärdensprachforschung mit einbezogen.
